Here at The Cliveden Stud, we have three resident stallions with an experienced team on hand 24hrs/day. Tessa is herself a qualified AI technician, so fresh or chilled semen, foaling down and all aspects of stud work are on offer.

Med Night Mahout
Med Night Mahout, the property of Tessa Spencer, is a lovely Intermediate event horse by JUMBO, Sire of Badminton & Burghley winner, Headley Britania. He has outstanding presence, immaculate conformation and above all, an extremely calm and kind temperament.
With points and money in all three disciplines, and ridden by Mary King from Pre-Novice through to Intermediate classes, he has lovely basic paces and a bold jump. He now stands at stud at Cliveden. His progeny can now been seen out competing both in the show ring and out jumping, as well as youngstock here at the Cliveden Stud.

Brego
Brego is one of only three breeding age Spanish Mustang Stallions in the UK, and will be available to cover selected non Spanish Mustang mares during the 2010 season.
He has the Spanish Mustang`s legendary stamina, toughness and good nature, which he passes on to his offspring. He is very people friendly and is a firm favourite with the staff and visitors at the yard
He has a `can do` attitude and a willingness to please which when coupled to his loving and gentle nature endears him to everyone who meets him. He has a powerful jump and like all his breed has stamina that many modern breeds can only dream of.
